• Jennifer Broe, an Edmonton mother of two who took her organic baby-food business, Baby Gourmet, from a farmer’s market stand to the shelves of the world’s biggest retailer, Wal-Mart, is one of the more successful mompreneurs

• January 2011, Baby Gourmet was being sold by Wal-Mart Canada and a clutch of independent retailers in Canada. Within a few months, it will appear on the shelves of Wal-Marts across North America. It is also slated for distribution in several large supermarket chains in Canada.
